P.S. In addition to facilitating "Argument-Free Lifestyle" workshops, delivering keynote speeches and visiting lectures, I am available for semester-long engagements. References are available upon request.
Much of my personal and professional life has been devoted to helping individuals, families, communities, and organizations achieve “argument-free lives."
My advanced degrees in education and communications from Kansas State University, along with additional graduate studies in strategic planning, leadership, theology, and business coaching, have enabled me to integrate academic insight with my practical, hands-on, real-world experience.
My professional experience includes holding senior leadership positions in corporate marketing and strategic planning, and small-business development, which included developing and presenting leadership and dispute-prevention training programs to diverse organizations throughout the United States. While serving as an Adjunct Professor of Justice Studies at James Madison University, I was honored to receive a research grant from the Center for Faculty Innovation.
Over the course of my business and academic careers, I have trained professionals from diverse communities across the business, healthcare, eldercare, non-profit, faith-based, civic, government, conflict resolution, and academic sectors. I have also presented over five hundred lectures and workshops on subjects including value-based leadership, core values, strategic planning, and dispute prevention.
Values and ethics rooted in my rural Kansas wheat farm upbringing and my one-room country grade school education (I was the only student in my grade!) lend a down-to-earth, human touch to every audience I am honored to address.
Teaching others to prevent disputes and strengthen their relationships allows me to help groups and individuals create an “argument-free life” grounded in respect, forgiveness, reconciliation, and peace.
Sincerely,
"Helping Others Achieve an
Argument-Free Lifestyle!"
